Dawid Planeta is a Polish artist (on Tumblr) who battles his depression by painting through it. His work produces murky scenes of mini people coming into contact with the gargantuan creatures that inhabit the jungle in his mind.

Constructed is a series of digitally edited photos by Pawel Nolbert on the topic of human memory, perception of reality and creation of subjective, distorted reality on social media. He takes photographs while traveling and messes with them to create his perfect version of reality.
“We construct our reality in our own way. We do that everyday on our Instagrams, blogs and other carefully curated outlets. Knowing that the world around us doesn’t look like this, we somehow want to believe that all those often extremely filtered and post-processed images in our IG stream are actually the real thing. We never recall things exactly as they happened. We remember them in our personal way. One, true version of reality doesn’t exist.”
